A Taxi Story

This afternoon, i was waiting for a cab at Shenton DBS building, the queue was long and it was pouring cats and dogs. Staring at the different colours of taxi driving pass, i can't help but to wondered which taxi company will served me this time. I hoped for a Hyundei Sonata which is infamous for their speed and comfy.

It was fast approaching my turn and i started to look out if my wish had been answered. In the end, i end up in a Crown which is driven by a female in her late thirties. Huh, interesting this is the first female cab driver that i have encountered in my life.

So i hopped on not knowing that what's installed for me. Well, it was a shitty experience. First, the auntie change gear very fast which mean that the taxi does not attain its optinum power for each gear level. Secondly, she kept a damn big distance between the car infront of her and keep tapping on the brake, i think the car behind her must be damn pissed. Thirdly, she travelled in the most outer lane and ignore the ambulance behind her although it was raising the emergency light. The ambulance has to overtake her, quite "solid". Lastly, she was travelling so slow that a same trip costs 30% more compared with other cab drivers. However, on the bright side i get to sleep peacefully as it is slow and peaceful.

Well, think twice before you board a taxi driven by a female.
