The journey was a total piece of crap, firstly it failed to reach KL on time, instead it was 2 hr late as compared to what was promised. Secondly, the coach was filled with juvenile cockroaches which were crawling on the window and floor. Thirdly, having someone snoring away loudly beside you is the last thing i ever hoped for. Ppl, do not take WTS coaches, it truly lives up to its name "What the s...".c2nbshttp://www.blogger.com/profile/03275470054316877160noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2109502792552516573.post-71370290762624870962010-06-17T18:09:00.000-07:002010-06-17T18:21:48.822-07:00Home Alone with Abril Ep03This morning i woke up feeling very tired, had to drag myself up as i knew that i will not have the luxury of doing my stuff if Abril had to wake me up instead. Well all things went well yesterday, Abril slept at 10 plus after finishing 6 oz of milk and i washed the clothes and packed my stuffs.

At around 5, i was woken by some familiar voice as i opened my eyes to find Abril playing with her big turtle soft toy. So i carried her out and make her some milk, she managed to finish the milk and dozed off soon after that.

Well, at the end of 3rd day i can still managed to walk properly and think logically without having to rely on Abril's roller chair as recomd by the Chuas'. Thanks to all the sms and msg, at least i know that you all still loved me of coz as a friend except for Mr. Chua with undoubtly is in a special relationship with me, Murck Murck! So folks, end of warm up, let get ready for Taiwan Epi.c2nbshttp://www.blogger.com/profile/03275470054316877160noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2109502792552516573.post-61792250586629955532010-06-16T17:57:00.000-07:002010-06-16T18:14:02.987-07:00Home Alone with Abril Ep02I know that this is just a short drama with 3 Epi, and all the aunties out there have been active following it. So let find out what happened for day 2.

Day 2
------
Well, it turned out that Day 2 isn't as happening as Day 1 as i finished washing the bottle at around 11.30 and that can only indicated that Abril slept before that timing. I knocked off on the dot and was at home around 6.30 and i settled whatever chores there are for me before taking a shower and headed over to pick up Abril.

By 9, we had reached home and Abril started her daily routines again i.e. watching TV. However, there was a moment when she stared at our photo on the wall and started pointing and cried, i quickly diverted her attention to some other things knewing very well that she would start to think of mummy. Wow, that was a close shave if not, i would have been in hot soup with a crying baby.

Around 9.30, i washed up Abril and changed her into sleeping attire and she indicated that she is hungry and i give her milk except that this time i make a 8 oz milk instead of a 7 oz. Guess what she finished all of it and she continued to play with her toys until 10.15 before she sleep. At around 10.45, the phone rangs and it was mummy well just do routines check on us and tell me how "enjoyable" the life over at KL is: "Chey, show off".

Thorughout the night, Abril did woke up 1 time for about 5 mins and thats all. Well, i can concluded that Day 2 is quite a pleasant one.

Stand tune for Day 3.c2nbshttp://www.blogger.com/profile/03275470054316877160noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2109502792552516573.post-57838280065414396592010-06-15T18:30:00.000-07:002010-06-15T18:45:26.481-07:00Home Alone with Abril Ep1First Day
----------

Spent the whole day at DBS Shenton meeting with my customer and managed to get home around 5, so i took Abril for a walk near the compound while my grandmum prepare dinner. She was fascinated by the pigeons which were looking for food in the nearby field. Then at 6, i rushed off for some evening work assignment which ended around 10.

I managed to fetch little Abril back home around 10.30, the first thing when she got into the house is to go and look for the remote control and asked me to switch on the TV for her so that she can view her favourite SK II advertisement. Did a wash up for her and changed to our favoruite Mummy Poko Diaper and she continued to wash TV and played with her toys. Meanwhile, i unpacked her stuffs as well as preparation for the next day.

Then, i gave her milk and she stayed up for a while before she wanted to sleep. Finally she fell asleep at 12.15 am and it was when i also collapsed on the sofa. The next moment i opened my eyes was 2.30 and i go and washed her bottles and clothes before i transfered her into the room. Abril had been kind enough to me as she slept thorough until 8 plus.

Hope that tonight will be smooth sailing too........c2nbshttp://www.blogger.com/profile/03275470054316877160noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2109502792552516573.post-16764059482868620082010-06-14T05:49:00.000-07:002010-06-14T05:57:48.855-07:00Home Alone with AbrilIt is always good news for men when their wives are not around at home for a while, it is like being release from prison after serving decades in that cell. Well, my wife is going on a company training trip on Tuesday and she will be away for a week and you might be thinking "Shiok, right", well it is not "Shiok" at all, for my case i am home alone with little Abril and that means i might find myself partying with her in the earliest hour of a brand new day.

I am totally not looking forward to it seriously cause i know that it is going to be a tough journey, oh now i am starting to miss my wife. Though i was lucky enough to retrieve them back later in the afternoon, but i just gave myself an excuse to get a new pair since i wanted them so badly since last year when it launched.

We went down to Queenway during 4 plus and started hunting for a pair of suitable boots but the version i liked which is a grade 2 does not have my size even though i asked a few shops and in the end i had to settle with a pair of grade 1. The traffic was really bad even at the early morning portion. Everywhere is jam and i was awaiting to enter CTE when an sms came in. Guess what, it is from NSC stating that my doc "EE" is on mc today. "Damn....., woke up so early and this happens."

Hence, i make a detour to TPY near my wifey's working place where this 2-storeys market was sited. There was this authentic shop by the corner that specialized in "Bao making" and i got myself a fan-choy and 2 siew mais. Well, it was very tasteful and nice. The rice had absorb the fragrant of the marinade sauce and it is definitely a way to start a bland new day.

Remember to go and try it!

Hungry WenRongc2nbshttp://www.blogger.com/profile/03275470054316877160noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2109502792552516573.post-42955663396614179902010-03-16T01:54:00.000-07:002010-03-17T18:41:42.917-07:00Parent's Love for their sonWith my wife's profound blog on male and female, it made me recalled an incident when i was a teenage. Come to think of it, this is what can be termed as mental support.

Since young, i grew up in a family where praising was never a habit not matter how well you do. Instead, you will get reprimand for the bad that you performed. This behavior was craved deep inside my shadows never to expected anythings for the good deeds and never to make any mistakes and i can only envy my classmates getting rewards for doing well. All i got was a verbal acknowledge from my dad for scoring 90 marks for mathematics, nothing else was shown on his face not even a smile.

Year passed and i grown into a teenage not to mentioned bearing the burden along with me. There was once that i did badly for one of my tests and as usual, i got the "kaya and butter" session, it was then that i had my last straws. I blasts out at them spilling out all the resent that had built up in my brains all these years. "It isn't fair at all, no matter how well i did in the pass, i never get a single praise from you. And i just need to fail once and i will get a beating, what is this?" My parent replied "Son, you are still small, you will never understand our love for you". Yes, i don't understand at all at that point of time, to me it is just loads of rubbish.

Soon after the incident, i was never interested in studying again so much so that i ended up repeating my secondary 3. My dad was made to see the vice-president regarding this. Earlier that morning, he drove me to the school. It was silent in the car, no one talked and in my mind, i was wondering how am i going to die back at home later. Will it be belt, hanger, feather duster or cane? Things worsen when my classmate whom i meet outside the office told me that he is happy to see me next time and we will be in the same class. I don't dare to look at my dad keeping my head low. After the session, he never uttered any single word, he fetched me home and left. I can still vividly remembered the disappointed look on his face until today. My mum was equally disappointed, but since she make sure that i had enough to eat and my daily lift is well taken care of. Guilt filled my heart and mind from that day onwards and i swear that i will never let them be disappointed again.

For the repeated year, i cut all nonsense activities and studied hard and my hard work was pay off, i managed to achieve very good result in the class. Upon getting the result, i rushed home to show it to them and they were happier. At that time, even a simple verbal acknowledgment is more than enough for me, let alone a smile on their face. That was the turning point in my life. And slowly i get to learned that they were actually praising about me to the relative all the while, it is just my ignorance not to notice it. They were always proud of me no matter what i have done.

This is how i realized that not all things need to be measure, parent love for their son need not be determined by how many praise or gifts they get. It is the support and care that really matters. And if my parent were to ask me the same old question again "I can proudly reply them that i had understand how much they loved me and i am proud to be their son"c2nbshttp://www.blogger.com/profile/03275470054316877160noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2109502792552516573.post-57892859434861068472010-03-16T00:21:00.000-07:002010-03-16T01:54:15.652-07:00Male VS FemaleThere are numerous de facto claims that male and female are different. Yes, not only are we different in terms of appearance, we are different mentally too. Recently, i watch a you tube clip by a US Psychologist who explained how brain function in the 2 gender.

This is what was reported. Man's brain is structured logically into boxes, there is a box for car, another for game, 1 for career and the list goes on....These boxes are not linked to one another. When man talk about cars, he will open the car box and everything in it is about cars, never expected us to talk about anything else then car. Female brain is organized in a similar way, the major difference from male is that it is inter-connected. They can talk about shopping and then link it to last year mango sale event where they missed a very good deal and then get emotional etc.....
Now all female out there, take note of this important fact: there is however a special box in male's brain and it is called that "Do-Nothing" box, it is just a box which nothing inside. Once in a while, male will open it up and then what???? Of coz, do nothing la......So next time if you encounter no response from a guy, it means he is in a do-nothing box and forgot to mention "DUN DISTURB".

Based on the brain analogy, this craved out on how we behave and thinks. Just read the following:

Scenario:
Guy always kept stuff to themselves.

Translation:
Female: He is so quite, something must be troubling him. I need to share the load with him.
Male: Don't make her worry, better don't mention it to her else she will be unhappy as i am.

Result:
Female will either pester for an answer from the male or keep wanting to guess what is going on. Male will not spoke a word of his trouble to anyone unless he is ready, he suffered because he wanted to protect what is precious to him and let them remained unharmed.

Analysis
Female wanted to share the load because she loved him. Male suffered in silent because he wanted to protect what he loved.

To female
"Love, trust and support is what really mattered. It does not that you show your support though action or something tangible. Something what is needed is the mental support such as making a cup of hot beverage when he returned, giving him a good massage before turning in works miraculously. Always remember that he will come out of his "cave" when he is ready"

To male
"We always think that keeping the tons of trouble to ourselves can protected our loves one but does it really works? Have you ever thought that it may have harmed them in the process. We have to learn how to care and share after all, 2 brains is better than 1 brains. If you don't wish to speak about it, then make sure that your acting skill is tip-top that it can awarded you an oscar. Open up your heart and don't those who cared worried over your stubborn behavior"

过来人
16-Mar-10c2nbshttp://www.blogger.com/profile/03275470054316877160noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2109502792552516573.post-21134400876971596142010-03-11T20:04:00.000-08:002010-03-14T21:16:35.754-07:0010 years checkpointIn less than 1 month, Cindy and i would have known each other for a decade. Unlikely Cel's case of "12 or 14", it is Cindy who ask me regarding the number of years question. It all started when i made her a photo card and the title stated "Happy 2nd Anniversary", upon seeing that, we started a debate session:

Cindy: "Isn't it suppose to be 9 or 10?"
BS: "10 year is the duration we known each other"
Cindy: "Then if you are calculating based on the day we get married, shouldn't it be our ROM date"
BS: "I remember we agreed upon 2nd of April as our anniversary?"
Cindy: "Then it should be 9 instead of 2 right"
BS: "I am calculating based on our wedding annivesary......"
Cindy: "Still not convinced"

And there was no conclusion to it.......So this demonstrated the difference in the functionality of a male and a female brain. Male separated events into individual entity whereas for female, these entity can be linked to one another.

Well, now we have to decide on a place to spent our anniversary with the additional member of the family "Our precious little Abril".

To be continued......

Hubby
15-Mar-10c2nbshttp://www.blogger.com/profile/03275470054316877160noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2109502792552516573.post-82531690412276366932010-02-23T21:30:00.001-08:002010-02-23T21:38:42.812-08:00Updates.........Nothing much had happened for this month. Apart from trying to settle down in my new project based in "Little India", CNY prep and celebration, i spent most of my time sourcing for my new tank scape. Went through a few books regarding fish tank scape and i finally found my ideal scape. Hence, i am now sourcing for the materials i.e. the substrate, media, and accessories. I came across the mizu-world website and found most of the needed stuffs and now awaiting the new stock of ADA Amazonia II soil to arrive before i placed my orders with them.c2nbshttp://www.blogger.com/profile/03275470054316877160noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2109502792552516573.post-72464305372922560382010-02-04T18:44:00.000-08:002010-02-04T19:11:12.348-08:00The link between love and IT terminologyI was chatting with my good buddy "The Fly" and one of the topic is about the terminology used in Love context and IT and we discovered that there is actually a link between them.

So let us start off terminology, we have the following:

Love
-Looking for partner
-Courting
-Dating
-Marriage
-Starting a family (having kid)
-Having affairs after marriage

IT
-Pre-sales
-SIT (System integration testing, testing done by developer)
-UAT (User acceptance testing, testing done by end-user (customer))
-Cutover (The application will be deploy onto the live system)
-Change request/ User Request (enhancement made to the application after cutover)
-Project by phases

The link between them are as such:

For those looking for a partner, it is like pre-sales in IT. You go around looking for customers who will need to development new application.

Then you managed to close the deal and development work started. This is when a guy start courting a girl by trying all sort of romantic methods and talking "Want to be my steady boh...." . Similarly, development will try out different coding logic and hoping to settle with a best solution.

Once the girl go "steady" with a guy, there is when UAT starts. User will test the logic and ask how come like this and result is not acceptable sort of thingy. The girl likewise will start to pick out all the faulty parts in a guy in hope of changing them to her liking.......

Finally UAT passed, user agreed and signed off, you know "Guy:Will you marry me? Gal: I DOOOOOOO..........". There is when marriage happens, initial period will be critical period, the couple will be in honey-moon period. Likewise, developer will be on 110% alert to look out for any issue.

After sign-off, the preparation to cutover the application to live system take place. This is when the couple decided to have a kid.

As for having external affairs, well sometime in IT project, it is split up into various phases. Once phase 1 completed, we kicked off phase 2, whole new requirement and new code. Just like affair, a new partner with new excitement.....

Cheersc2nbshttp://www.blogger.com/profile/03275470054316877160noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2109502792552516573.post-56048476755828458562010-02-04T06:16:00.001-08:002010-02-04T06:22:20.183-08:00Miss my family...............For the past few days, i have not seen my wife and my baby gal in awaken form. When i arrived back at home from the "Shitty" work i am currently in, they are already asleep and when i woke up, they had already left the house.

How long can i hold on until i reach breaking point, every day is like paying a visit to Little India where you are flooded with Indian smell and the word that you heard is Tamil and the world is like swinging left and right..........I really start to despite them.

God please help meeeeeeeee..............c2nbshttp://www.blogger.com/profile/03275470054316877160noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2109502792552516573.post-68755038443776505142010-01-25T19:58:00.000-08:002010-01-25T20:22:49.768-08:00What a lousy weekendLast weekend was a damn lousy one for me. Ever since i left the Citibank project 2 year ago, i had never burn my precious weekends and they are meaningfully spent with my family. However, last weekend was a really bad one.

I spent almost 20 hours working on a stupid project that will become a white elephant as the users are not planning to use it and yet they wanted it to go live on production server. Not only the weekend was bad, the weekdays were not better off either. I had to take care of testing, development, raising of Change request as well as set-up of the production server all by myself. My team lead was busy with another project and was not able to help out. Everyday, i see myself working until 10 plus in office and the work continued when i reach home until as late as 2 plus. Things was worse at home, Cindy was having some weird fever that come only at night and Abril was just recovering from her cough and flu so we have to rely on our grandmum to take care of Abril. Fortunately, Cindy was able to take care of herself though it was rather tough and now she is in the midst of recovering from her weird fever.

Throughout the week, i had been quite pissed of with the resource allocation from this project and that my request for more help had not been seemed to by my management. But through self-consultation that "It will be a good learning" that i feel better and determined to finish the project.

Though i had mentioned quite a number of negative stuffs that happened last week, there were 2 good things that happened too.

1. Cindy and Abril had been there to support me through my tough period, and i am looking forward to this weekend while we can spend time together.

2. A big suprise for me on Sunday from my "honey and big sister", you know who you are. Must be the feedback form right, 4/5 grading......... Nice fish tank with cabinet. Thank you!

With lot of love
"Er nai"c2nbshttp://www.blogger.com/profile/03275470054316877160noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2109502792552516573.post-79222183356607645512010-01-21T08:46:00.000-08:002010-01-21T09:07:59.700-08:00A Taxi StoryThis afternoon, i was waiting for a cab at Shenton DBS building, the queue was long and it was pouring cats and dogs. Staring at the different colours of taxi driving pass, i can't help but to wondered which taxi company will served me this time. I hoped for a Hyundei Sonata which is infamous for their speed and comfy.

It was fast approaching my turn and i started to look out if my wish had been answered. In the end, i end up in a Crown which is driven by a female in her late thirties. Huh, interesting this is the first female cab driver that i have encountered in my life.

So i hopped on not knowing that what's installed for me. Well, it was a shitty experience. First, the auntie change gear very fast which mean that the taxi does not attain its optinum power for each gear level. Secondly, she kept a damn big distance between the car infront of her and keep tapping on the brake, i think the car behind her must be damn pissed. Thirdly, she travelled in the most outer lane and ignore the ambulance behind her although it was raising the emergency light. The ambulance has to overtake her, quite "solid". Lastly, she was travelling so slow that a same trip costs 30% more compared with other cab drivers. However, on the bright side i get to sleep peacefully as it is slow and peaceful.

Well, think twice before you board a taxi driven by a female.c2nbshttp://www.blogger.com/profile/03275470054316877160noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2109502792552516573.post-40325620690752197682010-01-20T09:34:00.000-08:002010-01-20T09:42:50.330-08:00Tore my ligamentI tored my left knee ligament (medial collateral ligament) 2 weeks ago when playing soccer. It all happened when i tried to perform a slide to stop the ball from passing me, my left leg landed inward and i heard a "Pop" sound and that's it.

Initial few hours wasn't that bad, i hardly feel the pain as i can still drive a manual car back home but what happened next was more than i can handled, i started having difficult to extend my leg and feel extreme pain even with the slightest movement.

It was so bad that i had to visit the A&E the following day, the doc claimed that i can recovered with 1-2 weeks but i doubt it. A ligament need at least 1 month to heal and it depends on the severity too. Now i named myself "Ah Pai Siang"................ Luck seems to be running out this year or i am getting too old for soccer?c2nbshttp://www.blogger.com/profile/03275470054316877160noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2109502792552516573.post-86852231231079218642010-01-18T06:23:00.000-08:002010-01-18T07:29:27.473-08:00Picnic @ Botanic GardenRecently, we visited the Singapore Botanic Garden for a picnic trip. The weather was splendid when we arrived around noon time. It was easy to find a parking lot since the revamp of the car park to a multi-storey type.

Abril was fast asleep when we arrived so we placed her in her usual "BMW Z4". The park was not crowded as we walked in search of our ideal spot. After 10 mins of searching, we settled by a bench in a pretty shady and windy location. In front of us is a big greeny grass patch where a few groups of picnic-ers gathered.

We had sandwiches and salad for lunch and chocolate for dessert. Not long after we finished our lunch, little Abril finally woke up from her afternoon nap and she too had her porridge. After everything, we sat there enjoying the peacefulness of the park, play with Abril and took a few photos of our family. Lastly, we headed for Ginger garden before calling it a day. Take a look at our photos.

c2nbshttp://www.blogger.com/profile/03275470054316877160noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2109502792552516573.post-79289470430850045942010-01-04T18:22:00.000-08:002010-01-04T18:38:42.625-08:003 Big Bang to end 2009 and start 2010I am not sure if anyone has a universal format to end 2009 and start 2010, but well i have experienced one this time round. So here is my part of the story:

It has to do with my 3rd wife, the car. 1st Bang: On 30th of Dec 2009, i was playing my routine soccer at Bishan only to return to the car to find a piece of paper pin on my windscreen and i go like "E#$#@$#^%#$$#", the first and only ticket fine for 2009.

2nd Bang: On 3rd of 2010, we will on our way back from swimming at Sengkang when i kissed the taxi when he did a e-brake at a filter lane junction. There is a slight dent at the taxi's bumper but my car plate was damaged and i have to compensate that "Pig Head" 50 bucks. And best thing is we missed out on buying our car plate number which came out in 4D consolation. Something is just not meant to be.........

3rd Bang: On 4th of 2010, again i was at Bishan playing soccer but this time round, i decided to put a 1 hr coupon. I have managed to return on-time but spent my time talking cock with my pals near the car park. While we were engrossed in our topic, we spotted a white lady with a hand-held device walking passed the car park only to realize that i was 15 min late. 1st parking fine for 2010. Morale of the story is "go home straight away, dun talk cock".c2nbshttp://www.blogger.com/profile/03275470054316877160noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2109502792552516573.post-27769105767953400662009-12-29T00:46:00.000-08:002009-12-29T01:11:18.120-08:00X-Mas Gathering 2009 @ Cel's HouseLast Saturday, we have our annual X-Mas gathering at Cel's new house, an apartment along Roysth Rd. Other than the space as compared to her old house, the new place was nice and cozy. This year we had pot-luck style and as usual we cannot finish the food. After a fulfilling meal, we kick-off our post-meal exercise with the wii that Cel had bought, it is really a total workout man especially the boxing game.

For all the photo, please visit:
X-Mas Photos c2nbshttp://www.blogger.com/profile/03275470054316877160noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2109502792552516573.post-81340859983875969302009-12-17T23:45:00.000-08:002009-12-18T00:07:02.864-08:00XMAS is coming........Xmas is round the corner and while some are enjoy their year-end holiday, there are some like Cindy and i who are made to rush for project closure. It has been a really tiring week with a daily knock-off time after 10 pm, but once i reach home and see my wife and my little Abril esp. when she is awake, i feel rejuvenated again. Slowly i seem to understand the true meaning of family.

Anyway, for the past week Cindy and i have been cracking our head on what to get for the annual x-mas party at Cel's place. As much as it is a joyous occasion for all of us, it is also a war-zone for Cel and i. She never failed to place her eye on my exchange present, in fact she is much more happy to get the present from my hand if she get the joker. My yearly tactic alway seem to fail me, and without exception for this year, i have come out with my tactic which is to "wear red undergarmet" and hope that i can get the joker. Watch out Cel, Lady luck might be smiling at me this year, hehehe!

There is one more thing that i never failed to do during X-Mas which is to get chocolate present and i will alway visit Royce so my friends "Stay tuned".

Yippy Yayac2nbshttp://www.blogger.com/profile/03275470054316877160noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2109502792552516573.post-31444648060313870302009-12-06T21:12:00.000-08:002009-12-06T21:20:45.249-08:00My new 50DAfter 2 years of NATO, i finally got myself a DSLR, Canon 50D. Went to Sitex 2009 with Mr. Chua on the last day to grab it. Upon reaching Expo, the CO party headed for their John Little warehouse sale when we went to Sitex.

Upon reaching the Canon booth, Mr. Chua start to spot some decent sale guy whom we can negotiate with. And after doing round and round of patroling, we found our target. As a talented bargainer, Mr. Chua started to stress the guy until he performed a "Show Hand" of the best deal possible.

And thanks to Mr. Chua, i got my 50D Kit III package at a really good deal.c2nbshttp://www.blogger.com/profile/03275470054316877160noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2109502792552516573.post-6004254546193996632009-12-04T04:59:00.000-08:002009-12-07T05:57:29.401-08:00Bangkok Trip Day2Day 2 was Cindy's show as mine was over yesterday. We have our buffet style bf at around 8 plus at the hotel's cafe and then we headed out straight for shopping.

First destination is MBK where Cindy went to hunt for her lingerie and after 1 hr plus of shopping and choosing, she finally settled with 6 sets and then we set off for more shopping. Here is a look on the amount of load that we have initially:

Without failure, we will always offering our prayer to the 4-Face Buddha near Siam Paragon and along the way, we spotted something interesting.

"Who's the cat?"

Next, we drop by Central's Naraya outlet to search for the missing orders and manged to get most of them. After that, we get to taste the famous iced milk tea of Thailand. For those who like sweet, it is a must-try!

Finally, we reached the final destination "The Patunam Mall". It is a six-storey mall with 200 over outlet at each storey. We had our lunch at the mall and then we started Cindy's shopping fiesta. There are lot of variety to choose from and the amount of shops can match Taiwan's Wu Fen Pu. We only managed to complete walking 2 levels and we ran out of $$$ and we have to call it a day. End of the day, I ended up like this-

At night, we visited a roadside stall that we patronized every visit to Bangkok for Dinner. Here are the dishes that we had:

With this, we summary up our Bangkok trip.

c2nbshttp://www.blogger.com/profile/03275470054316877160noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2109502792552516573.post-18695515157225765262009-12-04T00:16:00.000-08:002009-12-04T00:30:58.062-08:00Mad Rush after long breakPreviously i mentioned about going for a long break but a long break doesn't always end in a good way especially when you are in the IT industry working under a bank domain. Well, year end is always the period where people clear their leaves and recharge themselves and i was always one among the group. However, thing doesn't not go smoothly this year though.

Firstly, my director gave me a call during the 2nd week of my holiday and this is the first telltale sight that i will be in deep s... when i return to work. It is not just plainly 1 call, a few sms tagged along with it. Just as i was enjoying my last 2 day, my team lead called me to return to work on the last day of my break. That's not all, once i return, it seems like i was caught in a perfect storm, you know 2 thunder storms meet. On 1 side, management is pressing the application to go on live when the production system has not been set up. On the other side, the application has not gone through proper testing.

Since i returned to work, every knock-off time is not earlier than 10pm. And i know there is more storms ahead. Well folks, i guess next time i will adopt Auntie Cel's tactic "Change job and then go on a break", at least she never ended up in a perfect storm.........

Bad Break...........c2nbshttp://www.blogger.com/profile/03275470054316877160noreply@blogger.com0
