Dinner@Apollo Banana Leaf
When Little India is mentioned, when came across most people's mind are the "In Du Ren" smell, coconut oil, mutton and curry smell. Actually, it is also a good place for food. Some of the popular restaurants like Mutu's Curry actually originates from there.
I am a sucker for Indian food, just like the taste of the spices and curry they cooked. Though the dishes are either red, yellow or brown in colour but trust me, they taste splendid. Most are acutally not spicy so don't be deceived by the look.
So Cindy and i decided to go on a adventurous dinner @ Little India Race course road. The restaurant is named Apollo Banana Leaf who sell a mixture of northern and southern india food. It was Cindy first time having indian food. At first reluctant, but i have managed to convince her. Here are some photos of us in action:
Indian "Keropok" The yellow Dhal and Eggplant dishes

It is definitely a fulfilling meal for both of us and the price is reasonable so i urge you to go and give it a try, you will never regret.
Cheers

Been busy with work and settling our life at the new nest. Ever since we have moved in, i have been reporting early for work. Used to wake up at 8.30am and now i wake up at 7.45am, keep up the good work.
Pipi and miji has been growing fatter and fatter and they are alway moving their toys around and end state, my wife need to put them back again.
My 3 ft tank is up and running and all the fishes have been transfer over from the old house and now i am in the midst of introducing the shrimps. Hopefully no casualties!

Victim of Culture
So lonely, i am so lonely.........
I need somebody by my side.................. When it come to marriage, some of us are bounded rules and regulations set by our ethic groups. First there is selection of marriage dates, the older generation alway like it on the weekends.
Then the "Guo Ta Li" which both family will sit down and talk about what to give and take from each other. To me, this is more like negotiation and they always say to keep it simple but in the end, it ended up like thousands of items......Is it really that simple? The thing i hated most is the seperation of the couple. For my case, my dear has to move back to her house before the "Guo Ta Li" and she will stay there until the day of the marriage. To a guy like me, i just cannot accept the way things are done although i know the reason behind it.
But it will end here, Starting from my era.

Updates
HiHi,
Long time no blog, been busy with reno, wedding and of course my wife's psp. Renovation had been smooth since my dad took over and there are lesser conflict between the two of us who are amateur level in the realm of renovation. Nevertheless, there are pros as well as cons. On the pros side, you get to save a lot considering the deduction of 30-40% commission by the Interior Designer or Renovation Contractor as they claimed to be. Con is that you have lesser control of what the desired outcome will be cause my dad is there to stop us from doing "funny thing" that will cost a lot. As he alway said: "This one want that want one, you think you got a lot of $$$" but no all proposals were rejected, after all i am his beloved son.
Apart from the reno, we are also busy with our wedding preparation as the big date draw near. Recently, we have collected our wedding cards and by end of Apr, we should be sending out the red bombs. Another event is the selection of menu and arrangement for food tasting. Lastly for this section is our photo selection. The designer has completed the editing of the wedding photos and we are going down to vent through the photos.
Lastly, not to forget our new member, Mr PSP. It had added fun into our life and now both of us are playing PATAPON. PON PON PATA PON PATA PATA PATA PON.......
Recently, we had celebrate our 8th Anniversary and looking back on the road that we have walked, i realized that we had lost some essential foundations along the way. Foundations like a smile to greet each other after a long day of "SHIT" and tiring work, asking how the day like for her. So i have decided to backtrack for a while in search of the lost foundations, hope that i will be able to find them back in our life.
Cheers

2nd Apr 2008
2nd of Apr is an important date to bs n me as it is the date where we get together and this year is the 8th year, bs n i both took leave to spend the day together. Here was the plan for the day

- cook lunch at home
- have dinner outside
Sounds boring right but in actual there was a surprise awaiting for me. In the morning bs n i went to the nearby shop and save to get some intregients for our lunch which we did not manage to get it the night before at NTUC. So what was the lunch? Japanese curry and kasu (pork cutlet) by mr low :) below are some pics

In the middle of preparing lunch, bs received a sms from his dad that the tiles would be delivered in the afternoon and asked him to go down to verify the tiles. The tiles are placed on the ground floor, I was wondering why they placed there anyway don't think anyone will want to steal it cos it too heavy to move it hahaha. Now Bs n i will need to start buying stuff for the kichen and toliets: sink, toliet bowl, taps etc... After that I accompany bs to pick up some broken tiles nearby his house guess and what is it for? Is for him to tie his mose. While he was busying picking up those broken tiles I was been bitten by inscents argh... now both my legs are those red swollen dots which is damn itchy...
When we reach home, I quickly took a bath cos the weather is damn hot!! Right after we headed to Orchard for window shopping. At around 6pm we went to Sushi Tei (our fav jap restraunt) for our dinner. We are really pig cos we have the following: assorted sashimi, fried baby optopus, salmon head, hot pot with seafood, fried tofu, crab legs tempura, sotong tempura, seafood with cheese sushi. While waiting for our food bs finally show me my 2nd present which he has been dropping hints during the last few days "2 piece of paper which cost $60", I had been thinking what kind of paper will cost $60.... Is 2 tickets to the Singapore Flyers!!! I was surprise cos I had been pestering bs to bring me go but he always gave me negative feedbacks that turn me off...
